Pricing
All pricing is done in GBP - British Pounds.
This will be converted into your chosen currency when you have selected
your payment method and an email will be sent confirming the price to be
paid for the items ordered, plus shipping and handling costs. See the payments section below for acceptable payment methods.
Browsing
Simply click on the category that you
wish to browse through, and a page will appear showing you how many items
there are for you to see in that category, and then the first selection of
those items. This includes a thumbnail image to enable you to get a
glimpse at the product. If it goes beyond one page then you are provided
with links at the foot of the results page to work through the rest of the
items.
Searching
You can use the search facility at any time to search through the entire
catalogue of items to find what you like. If for example you are looking
for Zeppelin, a search on the word 'Zeppelin' will show you ALL
products with the word zepplin in their name, or description. This is
very helpful when trying to find goods related to a certain theme or covers
coming from, or going to, particular Countries, rather than a
category.
Detailed View
To see a more detailed information page
for a particular item, and a larger image, then simply click on the
thumbnail image or the name. This will take you to a page where you will
see more details, including a large scan. For any items that do not currently have a picture please get in
contact and I will forward a scan of the item. On larger lots there is only one scan available online. Please contact me and I will send you all of the scans.
Ordering
By selecting the appropriate item then
clicking the 'Order' button, your choice of item will be added to your
shopping cart. You can continue to browse and build any combination of
purchases that you like. You are NOT obliged to buy until you select the
order button.
Purchasing
When you are ready to purchase, you can
go to the 'Go To Till', which can be accessed from the 'Shopping Cart'
page which you will see when you add a product, or which is listed at the
top of every page as a link called 'Cart', or you can use the 'Go To Till'
link, which is also shown at the top of each page. At this point you will
be asked to log in. (Note: We have kept to a minimum the requirements of
logging in, and assure you that we only ever use information held for the
purposes of our business. We do not release any informing to others, and
only ask you for enough to enable you to shop with us, and for us to be
able to deliver the goods. The use of a 'Username' and 'Password' simply
enables you to log in easier next time to check on the progress of your
order, or when you next wish to purchase something.) If you are a new
customer, then simply choose username and password which you wish to use,
and then complete the rest of the information, and click on the register
button. If you are already a registered customer, then simply enter your
username and password, and press the 'Login' button. Whichever you do you
will be taken to the next page which confirms the content of your shopping
cart, and the details of where to send the goods. It is possible to add a
secondary address for delivery at this point if you wish for the items to
be sent to another address, for example if you are buying it as a gift for
a friend, or wish it to be delivered to a second home etc. When you are
ready, click the 'Next' button, the next page again confirms the details,
and then asks you to choose your payment method. Please note: if you forget your user name
or password please register again as the password is kept in encrypted format.

When you are done, click the
'Complete Order' Button, and your details will be sent into the order
database. A confirmation page will be shown which confirms the details,
and which can be printed as a record of the order placed. (There is a link
at the bottom to make this a full page form before printing if you wish).
All payments will be cleared before
any goods are dispatched.
Shipping
Shipping and handling charges will be added to your invoice total and will be shown on your confirmation order. We will always attempt to ship within 3 - 4 days
after payment has been received, or the cheque has cleared, but in busy
periods this may be a little longer.
Availability
In some cases the item you order may have been previously sold or out of stock. We will advise if this is the case
when we confirm your order.
